Closing announcements

Several northeastern North Carolina schools are planning to close early today, Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, because of forecasted high winds this afternoon.

School administrators who do not remember their password for submitting closings, or wish to be added to this list, may e-mail us with a contact name and phone number.

College of The Albemarle (N.C.) - Closing all of campuses today at 2 p.m.; will resume normal schedule Saturday

Bertie County Schools (N.C.) - NO PLANS TO CLOSE TODAY.

Camden County Schools (N.C.) - Closing at 1:30 p.m. All after-school activities will also be canceled.

Currituck County Schools (N.C.) - Teacher workday scheduled today. No school.

Dare County Schools (N.C.) - Teacher workday scheduled today. No School.

Edenton-Chowan Schools (N.C.) - Closing at 1:30 p.m. All after-school activities will also be canceled.

Elizabeth City/Pasquotank Public Schools (N.C.) - Will close at two hours early. All after-school activities also will be canceled.

Hertford County Public Schools (N.C.) - NO PLANS TO CLOSE TODAY.

Perquimans County Schools (N.C.) - Closing at 1:30 p.m. All after-school activities will also be canceled.
